Belem Capital hosts institutional conference on digital asset allocation at Paris Blockchain Week

Over 130 allocators, wealth managers, and family office representatives gathered on the banks of the Seine for a practitioner session on the portfolio integration of digital assets.

Luxembourg, 24 April 2026

On the sidelines of Paris Blockchain Week 2026, Belem Capital , teaming up with Luxembourg-registered fund Constella Capital, hosted a dedicated morning session for professional investors on the banks of the Seine, at the foot of the Louvre. The keynote was designed for practitioners with direct responsibility for portfolio construction and allocation decisions. The event brought together over 130 allocators, wealth managers, and family office representatives for two structured panel discussions on digital asset portfolio integration. Paris Blockchain Week 2026 recorded the participation of over 220 banks, compared to 20 two years ago.

Panel 1, "Rethinking Portfolios and Diversification in the Age of Digital Assets," examined digital assets through a portfolio construction lens. Participants drew on direct mandates to assess correlation dynamics, liquidity profiles, and the structural differences between yield-generating strategies and directional exposure.

Panel 2, "Investment Journeys: Lessons from Allocators and Family Offices," gave the floor to practitioners who have already navigated allocation decisions in this space. The discussion covered selection criteria, due diligence frameworks, and the practical challenges of integrating a new asset class into established governance structures.

The session featured eight senior participants:

Axel Cabrol (CIO, TOBAM),

Guillaume de Martel (CEO, Société Générale Investment Solutions France),

Alexander Metzger (Head of Digital Assets, Syz Group),

Yohann Derbyshire (Head of Investments, Carat Capital and Hedon Family Office),

Louis Alexandre de Froissard (Founder, Montaigne Patrimoine),

Elie Medina (Associate Partner, VAULT Family Office),

Guillaume Edery (Head of Financial Solutions, UFF),

and Tiago Fellay (Portfolio Manager, Syz Capital).

Participants addressed portfolio fit, liquidity constraints, risk management frameworks, and the practical differences between institutional-grade strategies and retail exposure. The level of specificity in the exchanges reflected the operational maturity of professional investors now engaging directly with this asset class.
