Belem Capital is reinforcing its institutional framework through the establishment of a Governance Advisory Committee

The appointment of two senior figures, previously with FINMA, Credit Suisse, EY, BCG and IBM, to a newly formed committee reinforces independent strategic oversight and transparency, ensuring that risk and operational processes remain aligned with the highest industry standards.

Luxembourg, 9 March 2026

Belem Capital has formally established its Governance Advisory Committee to further strengthen its institutional framework and governance structure. This Committee provides an additional forum for advisory input on strategic, governance and risk-related matters, supporting ongoing alignment of risk management and operational frameworks with recognized industry standards. For Limited Partners, this Committee acts as an additional consultative committee contributing to transparency and best practices.

All decision-making authority remains exclusively with the Investment General Partners in accordance with the Fund’s Limited Partnership Agreement.

The formation of this Committee reflects fund capital’s commitment to structured governance dialogue and transparency in its institutional development.

The board is composed of two experienced industry professionals, who bring backgrounds in global consulting and technology-driven strategy advisory:

Biba Homsy is an experienced lawyer in Switzerland and Luxembourg, specializing in digital assets, compliance, and regulatory matters.

She has been active in the crypto space since 2015. Her firm provides legal and compliance support to traditional entities (banks, asset managers, fund managers, etc.) as well as to VASPs/CASPs in the digital asset space. Previously, she served as Head of International Cooperation for the Swiss regulator FINMA and as Chief Compliance Officer at Credit Suisse. She regularly participates in international regulatory working groups, notably for FATF, IOSCO, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and ISO.

Pierre Pourquery is a former Partner at Boston Consulting Group, former Head of Capital Markets Consulting at EY, former Global Manager at IBM, and a former trader.

His experience is in capital markets and digital assets, with extensive experience advising financial institutions, governments, and hedge funds on the strategic, operational, and risk implications of capital markets and digital market infrastructure.

He has played a key role in defining the true risk frameworks surrounding digital assets; spanning market risk, liquidity risk, custody, operational resilience, regulatory exposure, and systemic implications. He has advised on the launch of a digital gilt, contributing to the strategic and market structure considerations underpinning sovereign digital issuance. In parallel, he has advised hedge funds and institutional investors on crypto and digital asset strategies.

His  work focuses on the convergence of traditional financial market infrastructure and blockchain-based innovation, including digital securities, tokenisation, stablecoins, FX market transformation, and next-generation settlement models.
